LAPD Senior Lead Officer Perry Griffith working pro-actively in the 77th Division. He stops many people who are in areas known to have a history of illegal activity, especially drug sales, drug use and gang violence. These people appear to be behaving suspiciously and are known or suspected gang members. He routinely questions them, searches them, sometimes handcuffs them and usually runs their names on the police computer in his car. Sometimes he takes them in under arrest.
