Sgt. Michael Houghson took up a defensive position
after several shots were fired near his platoon. The platoon was patrolling
near Abu Hanifa mosque, the principal Sunni Mosque in Baghdad, the last place
Saddam Hussein was seen in public and still a district hostile to U.S.
forces.
