03 A Palestinian man scales a section of the Israeli security wall that has
been erected in Abu Dis on the outskirts of Jerusalem.
Israel is pursuing the construction of a costly security wall that is intended to block
terrorist attacks from the West Bank and Gaza. Opponents of the wall say it
undermines the peace process, cutting off Palestinians from some of their
land and putting them in a prison-like situation.
