A mother collapses upon finding out her daughter died
during surgery. Though the hospital is considered to be well-equipped, the
mortality rate for children undergoing heart surgery is nearly 40 percent. A
project involving a North American medical team is underway with the goal of
increasing the chance of survival of the children.
