Hammond's Shade Smith watches as Long Reach's DaMara
Parrish sprints to a gold medal in the girls 200 meter final at the Howard
County Track and Field Championships. Smith, who was leading the race,
tripped within sight of the finish line. Despite falling down, Smith got up
and finished the race.
