"Quarter Grin" Alexis Brown, age 12 in 1995, has been tap dancing on the streets since he was five. He often walks around with a few quarters in his mouth, which he says he's saving for a soda. Today Alexis is 17. He recently was arrested as part of a crackdown on street performers. His family couldn't afford to pay the $200 fine, so he spent 30 days in jail.
