Two Afghan laborers covered in dirt and soot take a break from working the furnace at GT Brick located in Karkhla, Pakistan. The labor is harsh and air is filled with black soot which the workers breath. The thousands of workers are illegal and come to work in Pakistan as economic refugees. War and drought have help cause this massive influx of Afghanistan people to flee their country.
