President Gus Dur is comforted by his daughter, Yenny, during his final night in the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on the evening of July 25, 2001. After two days held up in the Palace, Gus Dur finally realized he couldn't overcome the impeachment and the will of the people without causing violence to break out yet again on the streets of Indonesia.
