"Becoming us" While a grandmother looks on with amusement and dismay, Normina Ibrahimovich, 11 basks in the glow of a late afternoon sun. Normina loves to dance. Whether it's ballet, or the shimmy, an outburst of western physical dance expressionism, she is constantly blithely flowing through the square. She and her Bosnian friends play many American games to the ready made audience of the open porches that look out over the square. One of those games is "runway model." While the kids of this complex are in the process of becoming Americanized, the older Bosnians are part of that old world. Abida Korkutovic, 62 isn't sure what to make of the Americanization of her children's Children.
