We have a few suggestions
to assure a close match between what you see on your monitor
and what we see projected during the competition.
The first step, of course, is to make sure that your
monitor is calibrated correctly. If you are not sure that
your monitor is adjusted properly, check out Accurate
Image Manipulation. This site has several sections
on calibration, and supplies targets, gray scales, etc.
The images below were projected and toned in the judging
area. The black and white photo has no color cast, the
color photo has no cast in the white and gray areas, and
the film can looks, well, like a film can. If you have
a roll of Superia 100, you can compare it with the photograph.
It won't match exactly, but it should be close.
